KILLER COBRA
Famed racer and hot-rodder Carroll Shelby is still up to his old tricks, this time teaming with custom-bike builder Rucker Performance to produce what the pair is calling "the ultimate American high-performance motorcycle." Said to rival the power-to-weight ratio of the legendary Shelby Cobra 427 S/C, the limited-production, Pro Stock-style two-wheeler will be built by Rucker under license. "It's no secret that stuffing a powerful American motor into a lightweight chassis has been my formula for success," noted Shelby. "Powerful" is an understatement, as output from the fuel-injected, 128-cubic-inch S&S X-Wedge V-Twin is estimated at
160 horsepower. An optional Procharger supercharger will further boost yield. Thank goodness for the ceramic front brake discs and four-piston Wilwood calipers!
